Class Syllabus & Pride Expectations:
Digital Interactive Notebook
This notebook is meant to be a resource for students as well as a place for them to keep track of all the notes and teaching videos for the standards we cover throughout the year.
The class syllabus, expectations, discipline pyramid and a mastery grading explanation are on slides 3-6 of the Digital Interactive Notebook. Slide seven begins the "Engage" section where students are refamiliarized with concepts that they have been introduced to in previous years. These concepts & skills we will use regularly throughout the school year in class. Being very familiar with them will help students while having discussions in class as well as help them on the variety of assessments we take throughout the year. Slide fourteen begins the skills & standards we will be learning, practicing, and assessing on throughout the year. These we will review on a regular basis but will not be addressing daily. These are the skills students need to master or become proficient in this year to be ready for high school next year. Everything that is in this notebook will be either done together or reviewed together. This is where the beginning learning takes place. It is not a graded assignment but is considered daily "practice" so that students are ready for "game day" or assessments when they come. NNC Bell Schedule |
